Terms and Conditions of purchase

A 12 month “Return to Base” warranty is given. The Warranty covers any defects concerning electrical parts and hardware. Buyer is to check for any physical damage on initial receipt of the goods. If equipment is found to be damaged the details must be reported back to CRUK on that day via email to sales@computerrecyclersuk.com. It must be stressed that damage that may have been incurred during transport yet not reported back within 24 hours will not be accepted as a warranty issue. Please Check Item on Receipt. The Warranty covers hardware only. If you discover a fault within the first 14 days we will arrange for the return and pay for all postage costs. If a fault is found after the first 14 days and up to the final Warranty date the buyer is to cover the initial return postage cost, the return back to customer will be covered by the warranty. All repair cost will be covered by the Warranty. On returns we reserve the right to offer a full refund if a repair is not economical and a replacement is not accepted by the Buyer.

(Please note: ALL immediately reported software and physical problems are covered with the basic warranty upon purchase)

Exclusions:

• Minor scuffs and marks
• Incorrect reinstallation of the system.
• Any virus or corruption of the system through external or Internet usage.
• Addition of conflicting software after purchase.
• Accidental damage due to equipment being misused or handled/stored incorrectly.
• Battery degradation. Laptop Batteries are supplied with 60% Battery Capacity minimum. We cannot guarantee how much longer the battery remains above 60% capacity and / or the length of time it hold charge.
• Laptop Keyboards (3 month cover only).

Please note that if you are intending to connect this computer to the INTERNET, ANTI-VIRUS & FIREWALL programs are pre-installed to protect your computer whilst on-line. These will need to be removed if you wish to install other similar programs.

On receipt our engineers will inspect the equipment and evaluate their findings. Computer Recyclers UK Ltd. will then contact you to arrange a return date – we will Endeavour to have your computer repaired or exchanged and back with you within 5 working days of receiving the same back on site.

Returns Policy

If the product is not to your satisfaction you may return it to Computer Recyclers, who will refund your purchase subject to the following :

• You contact Customer Services  on 01443 434675 within 14 days after delivery and request a returns number
• The equipment is received by us in the same condition as it was dispatched from our warehouse
• The system has not been infected by a Virus, Worm, Trojan Horse, Malware or Spyware
• Unless the product is damaged, defective or the return is a direct result of a Computer Recyclers error, a return charge will be applied up to £25.00 ex. VAT., which will be deducted from your refund or you can meet the cost of return yourself.
• Refund payment will be made, within 30 days of the receipt of the returned goods, by the method which you used to pay Computer Recyclers when placing your order.

Please note the limitation period for a customer is 6 years if bringing action under The Consumer Rights Act (CRA).
